VESPER was sent to a CENTRALITY HOSPITAL as a very young child for experimental treatment in hopes to cure her rare disease. As a means of slowing down the disease her DNA was fused with that of a STAG BEETLE and she grew to develop bug like mutations.

She was trapped here for most of her life, never being allowed outside the hospital walls. 

The rest of AWOL then helped her escape along with them, allowing her to finally be free. After JOCHO left earth for the moon, she moved into the Cyber Experiments Laboratory.
